Ans
1.B-24)
Ratio of efficiency = A : (A+B)=100 :160=5:8
Ratio of efficiency of A:B=5:3
Ratio of efficiency of A:B:C=5:3:6(as C is twice as efficiency as B)
Total efficiency of B & C is =9
According to questions
9 →40/3
So 5- (40/3 *9)/5= 24 days

2-B-7 )
2 children = 1 man
8 children + 10 men =14 men
15 men + 86 boys= 58 men
58 men finish the work in (14*29)/58=7 days

3.24)
Ratio of efficiency of Abhishek :Bharat =2:1
Ratio of efficiency of Bharat : Charu =2:1
Ratio of efficiency of Abhishek :Bharat :Charu=4:2:1
Total efficiency of Abhishek & Bharat is = 6
According to question
6→4
1= (6*4)/1=24 days

4.A-5)
1 M=2 W
8M+4W=20W
4M+8W=16W
Let In X more days, the work will be completed.
According to questions
20 *6=(20*2)+16*X
X=5 days

5-D-15)
(20 *5)M=(30 *8)W
5M=12W
10M+18W=42W
According to question
Women would be required to finish it in 14 days
=(42*12)/14=36W=15M
So men would be required=15 M

6.D)
A alone can finish the work in 24 days
According to question
4/24 +6/12+X/12=1
X=4 days
